Autograph letter signed from Spontini to Spohr, assuring him that as conductor of the Opera and as Director General of the King's Music at Berlin, Spohr's opera JESSONDA would be performed. Spontini mentions that he was unaware that the Royal Theatre in Berlin had Spohr's opera ZEMIRE ET AZOR, but that, as Spohr wishes, JESSONDA will be given priority.
